Artifactx exists because cryptoart gave us some of the best relationships of our lives. We were there early — early enough to remember when minting a JPEG was a fringe act of faith — and what kept us wasn't the money. It was the people. Minds that think differently finding each other at 3am across ten time zones, arguing about art that wasn't supposed to exist.

Let's be honest about what this place is: a PVP economy. It is not comfortable, and it isn't meant to be. But we're all here for it — artists, collectors, the rugged — because the same arena that humbles you is the one where brilliant work gets found.

We watched the trading platforms eat themselves — Blur's race to zero, OpenSea's pivot to counter it — and we watched royalties, provenance, and whole catalogues become collateral damage. Yes, there are broken links from 2021. We restore them. That is the job: persevere, repair what the last cycle broke, and keep making unbelievable art.

We chose no investors. Not because we couldn't raise — because building without them teaches you what a thing is actually for. It teaches you meaning. It teaches you how to survive a bear market on conviction instead of runway.

The honest version of the build: we hired dev shops across Pakistan, India, Ukraine, and beyond to make it happen — and it didn't. So last year Generationart took it into his own hands and rebuilt the entire app from the ground up, with every piece of drive he had left — because without this world and this subculture, life would be boring and tiring. The COO has been beside him the whole way, along with Desultor and Max Capacity — legends in the space. We have not gone a day without building this app. We're not embarrassed by that. It's the whole point.

Most NFT marketplaces treat digital art as a vehicle for financial speculation. Artifactx is built on the opposite premise: that the work has intrinsic value, and that the infrastructure around it should reflect that. Curation is not optional here — it is the foundation.

Every creator on Artifactx has passed through a verification process. Every drop is reviewed before it goes live. The result is a catalogue where collectors can trust what they are looking at — and artists can build a body of work without competing against noise.

We operate across seven chains because art should not be constrained by network allegiance. We enforce artist royalties because compensation should not depend on the goodwill of whoever runs the next marketplace.
